9th Day In Wuhan

Woke up today and analyse my questionnaire results the entire day while waiting for the new EP to arrive. It was interesting where there are just more than half the people doesn't really recycle their papers. Maybe its because they lack of the facility to recycle paper and therefore no where to place the papers. A Swedish EP arrived around noon, his name is Patrik. He will be staying at the homestay half an hour from our place. I guess that makes communication and discussion a little bit difficult.

Slept the whole afternoon and ready to go to a university where a lecturer is going to give us some information regarding the environment, especially issues happened in Wuhan. We talked about eutrophication. I knew what it was all about but i never really know how it can relate to our daily lives. Just by using phosphorus based detergen can increase the eutrophication in the water. Also, i only knew about how eutrophication happens but not how to deal with it. A simple act by having a certain type of fish that could eat up the algae in the water or having plants planted beside the lake can absorb the excess nutrients in the water can really help improve the quality of the lake water. I guess this is something new that i learned today...Hope tomorrow i can come out with slides for my thursday to saturday presentation....
