The day had been a tiring one, woke up at 8 in the morning and went to the supermarket alone to buy some biscuits for breakfast. Had a chat with the Local Committee President (LCP) named Michael, and surprisingly there are much that i do not know or have misconception about China and their people. All the language used are mainly mandarin, however people from different parts of the country might only speak their own dialect and not knowing how to converse in mandarin. We discussed about the environmental issues, religion, our own hobby but most of the time we were sharing things on the language used. He did ask me one thing which is 'what chinese culture do i still practice in Malaysia?' A very good question and to be honest, i can't really differentiate which is the chinese culture and the malaysian chinese culture. Hopefully after this exchange, i might find the answer in it.
Went to the airport to pickup another EP who is also from Malaysia with Ricky, a local committee. Her name is Siau Ling. Well, good to know there's another person from Malaysia. At least now i will have company and much common topics to talk about.
