As the title goes, always backup. No matter what you do, always look for a backup. Whatever you have on your computer, always backup to an external HDD, and whatever you have on you phone, backup to your computer!
The first is where I lost my data because my pc harddisk got bad. I lost my entire photo album of my dog from the day we adopted her and till now. Just a little over hundreds of pictures over 3years and also my photo album for my scouting activities as much as 4GB space from form1 till form6. Darn!! I hate things gone when i didn't backup all those files. (This was during the year 2007)
Despite that disastrous happening, still i didn't really learn to back things up until NOW. I just had my phone reformatted a few days ago, and guess what? My entire contact list gone!! All of it!! (approx 400 contacts) Now i have to re-enter and retrace all my contacts from scratch and key it into my phone one by one. Only took me entire to key in 58 contacts!!!! Still have 300 more to go. The moral of the story is always backup your things before it's too late. Always do something before it is too late and do not take things for granted just because they are still in good condition.
